About This Quote

This is a common line from a fictional character. In this case, it is from the movie “Enemy of the State”, in which Will Smith plays a man named Jake Dunn, a government agent who gets caught up in some heavy-duty espionage. Dunn is being held by a man named Roy Foltrigg (played by Gene Hackman) whom Dunn has been tracking for several years. In one of his last scenes, Dunn asks Foltrigg where on Earth he's been and how he got there.
